Every month C-Cap and the Hamilton County Business Center (HCBC) coordinate a morning mentoring program to help four companies in the Cincinnati area with professional advice. The mentoring program is designed for early stage companies hoping to receive seed funds or early angel investment and provides an excellent forum for businesses to receive feedback and advice on current issues or problems.
Each Morning Mentoring event entails a brief five-minute presentation from each company describing their business concept. Then the companies break off into one-on-one meetings with professionals and angel investors.
Morning Mentoring programs are scheduled every month through the end of 2010. The next three programs are scheduled for July 23, Aug. 27, and Sept. 24, all at the HCBC. For a complete schedule of programs and their locations click here. Participation in the mentoring program requires an application to be completed and submitted online. Once all applications are received for the month, HCBC and C-Cap will select the four participating companies.
As this program continues to grow it will become harder to be accepted for a session, so apply soon!
